Algerian Lemonade
Algerian lemonade can be flavored with orange blossom water. This version is defined by a measured quantity of lemon and sugar.
Ingredients
- 180 ml lemon juice
- 1200 ml water
- 90 g sugar
- 15 ml food-grade orange blossom water
Preparation
Wash the lemons before cutting them, then squeeze them. Measure 180 ml of juice and filter out the seeds.
Dissolve the 90 g of sugar in 200 ml of the allocated water, stirring carefully.
Add the lemon juice, the remaining 1000 ml of water, and the food-grade orange blossom water.
Mix, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to serve chilled.
Divide the preparation into six equal portions. The actual acidity depends on the lemons; any additional sugar would alter the basic quantities.
