Kahk
🍪 Twenty small round ghee, yoghurt and sesame cookies lightly powdered with sugar.
Ingredients
- 200 g wheat flour: 190 g dough and 10 g rolling
- 80 g melted then lukewarm ghee
- 60 g plain pasteurised yoghurt
- 15 g granulated sugar
- 20 g icing sugar for finishing
- 10 g already toasted plain sesame seeds
- 4 g baking powder
- 2 ml food-grade vanilla extract
- 1 g salt
Preparation
Reserve rolling flour. Mix remaining 190 g with granulated sugar, sesame, baking powder and salt.
Mix lukewarm melted ghee with yoghurt and vanilla; add dry ingredients without long kneading.
Cover and refrigerate thirty minutes. Preheat conventional oven 180 °C and line tray.
Roll about 5 mm thick using reserved flour. Cut twenty small discs, gently rework scraps without extra flour.
Bake eighteen to twenty minutes until cooked and edges lightly golden. Rest five minutes on tray then at least fifteen more on rack until cold.
Distribute measured 20 g icing sugar over cold cookies. Serve two per portion, no filling or nuts.
